How to Explore Your Sexuality Without a Partner

How to Explore Your Sexuality Without a Partner
With many stay-at-home orders still in place, you may not be able to explore your sexual side with someone, but that doesn't mean you can't explore your sexual side solo!

Exploring your sexuality is a crucial part of a well-rounded self-care routine. We've rounded up some of our favorite (and the best, in our opinion) ways to explore your sexuality without a partner.

Journaling

Journaling about your sex life? Yeah, it's a thing - trust us. It might be a bit awkward at first but start by writing about your three best and worse sexual encounters. Think about what made them that way & it can help give you clarity on what you want going forward.

Use journaling to unpack all your thoughts on sexual encounters, your desires, or really anything sex-related. Plus, journaling is quite therapeutic, no?

Learn From Others

Why reinvent the wheel if you don't have to? Learn from a podcast (here is a great list), a book (here is a great list), or a (virtual) girls night where you can share self-love strategies, challenges, or whatever else you feel like talking about!

Tantra Yoga

Tantra-what? While tantra yoga can be done with or without a partner, this form of yoga is all about connecting with yourself. It's an awesome addition to your self-care routine. There are different poses and meditations you can do depending on the style and your skill level.

Porn

We are *huge* advocates for (consensual and respectful) porn - especially when it comes to self-love! Instead of always going for your go-to, try something you wouldn't normally - you might just surprise yourself. There are so many sites out there for all different kinds of porn and hey, don't knock it if you haven't tried (watching) it.

Masturbate

You didn't think we'd have an article about exploring your sexuality without masturbating on it, did you? Masturbating is good for you in so many ways but one of the benefits is figuring out what you like and don't like in the bedroom. Now is the time to explore! (PS - we can help with that thanks to the OhMyG - our super silent G-spot massager sex toy, which you can check out here.)

Oh look, we even made this nifty little infographic for you 😊
